  At 18: 00 on June 12, an earthquake of magnitude 5.0 occurred in Yingjiang County, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The Mainland Earthquake Early Warning Center of China Earthquake Early Warning Network warned Dehong Prefecture 24 seconds in advance and Kunming City 120 seconds in advance.

  Mobile phones, televisions and "megaphones" with earthquake early warning functions near the epicenter issued early warnings.

  China Earthquake Early Warning Network Mainland Earthquake Early Warning Center also released earthquake early warning information through nearly 50 government affairs and media Weibo for the first time, providing early warning information for China Earthquake Network Center, National Early Warning Information Publishing Center, National Disaster Reduction Center and Sichuan Provincial Emergency Management Department.
